METHODOLOGY

Research Design
The design of this study is a descriptive method of research. It aims to determine the cause of the relationship problems between the child and the parent. The data of this research will be collected through surveys by questionnaires. The data must be gathered without manipulation from the researchers. This research goes deeply in describing the relationship of families today and their causes.
Research Environment
This research is will be conducted on different environments. One of the environment is the UP Cebu, but not specific number of participants will be selected. Other environment is the other schools or some neighborhood. The researchers chose this kind of way to ensure and vary the different results from different environment.
Research Participants
The researchers will randomly select thirty (30) teenagers with ages ranging from sixteen (16) – eighteen (18). These respondents are assumed to have  experiences on short-term or long-term relationship problems with their parents. From the selected thirty, the researches will choose five to continue with the research and will undertake an FGD. These five selected respondents have a long-term serious problems with their parents which the will be tackled deeply.
The method used a probability kind of sampling specifically the stratified sampling and more exact, the disproportionate stratified sampling. The researches will only have three sub-groups from a group of teenagers; the sixteen-aged, seventeen-aged and the eighteen-aged teenagers , then from that group, they will randomly select their respondents with different numbers in each sub-group.
Research Instrument
Questionnaires will be used for the survey. To cover all factors in the research, it is made into five parts. The first part is the Personal Information, which contains personal and family background. The second part is how to determine a  passive-aggressive relationship between the child and the parent. The third division describes a passive-aggressive personality. The fourth part covers other factors that influence the relationship. The last part talks about the development of the Passive-Aggressive family relationship. Moreover, it covers how decision-making contributes to the friction of teenagers and their parents.
Data Collection
After the questionnaires made, it is to be handed to 30 randomly selected teenagers with ages sixteen (16) – eighteen (18). They will answer the fifty (50) questions written in the questionnaire. The survey will be conducted within a span of one week. The questionnaires will be handed out personally/ by online to the respondents by the researchers. The data will be recorded for analysis. Then from those selected 30 teenagers their will only be five teenagers to continue the research to be conducted an in-depth research on their family relations by forming an FGD and conducting an interview. These teenagers have experienced a serious or long-term relationship problem with their parents. The results of the FGD will be recorded for final analysis.
Data Analysis
The data to be gathered in the survey will be recorded in a tabular form. This will make the analysis of the data much manageable and efficient. From the primarily selected participants, those who will have reached a percentage of seventy (70) – one hundred (100) of the results will be selected to participate in our second method, the FGD. The data to be gathered in this method will also be recorded and tabulated for the last analysis of all data. In this way, it will be easier for the researchers to identify the major factors that relates to the relationship between the parents and the teenagers.
